Welcome to JY Beauty Lounge. By accessing our website and purchasing our products or services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
CANCELLATIONS
JY Beauty Lounge is an appointment salon. To ensure the salon operates smoothly and efficiently, we ask that you please consider the following terms and conditions of JY Beauty Lounge. By making an appointment with us, you agree to our terms & conditions.
When you book your appointment you will be required to place a booking fee on appointment valuing $80 or more. We accept all major credit/debit cards. We kindly ask for a minimum of 20 hours notice for all cancellations, rescheduling or altering of appointments. This enables us sufficient time to contact those who are on our wait list to offer them the cancelled appointment time. If you give less than 24 hours notice (for all cancellations, rescheduling, or altering of appointments) your booking fee will be forfeited and you will be charged 30% of the total price of your appointment or 50% of the total price if 12 hours or less notice is given. If you or cancel less than 2 hours notice or fail to arrive at your scheduled appointment (no show), you will be charged 100% of the price of your scheduled appointment.
We understand last-minute emergencies pop-up. However, if you are unable to make your scheduled appointment with us, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule.
All deposits are non-refundable, but are transferable if more than 24 hours notice is given.
LATE ARRIVALS
Out of respect and consideration for your technician and other clients, please do your best to be on time.
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late we will have to reschedule and you will be charged 50% of the appointment.
Your appointment is your time, set aside specifically for you. If you are running late, this affects both your technician as well as our other clients. We cannot allocate extra time to your appointment if you do not arrive on time. This also means that you will not get the full attention you deserve and in turn we may not be able to give you the results you had hoped for. You will still be charged 100% of the price of your scheduled appointment.
To get the most out of your appointment and to make sure our technicians can focus on your service as much as possible, please arrive on time and with all eye make-up removed.
ALLERGIES & ILLNESSES
It is the responsibility of the client to inform JY Brows & Beauty of any allergies or illnesses they may have. This includes all and any allergies or illnesses, whether or not you believe they may be relevant to your treatments. Should you not disclose the above mentioned, JY Brows & Beauty takes no responsibility for any implications or harm that may occur.
TREATMENT POLICY
If, for any reason you experience any issue or problem with a treatment please contact JY Beauty Lounge within 48 hours. We are happy to give you a complimentary follow-up consultation, and then attempt to remedy the issue (which may or may not be a complimentary service, depending on the nature of the situation) however, you must contact us within 48 hours of your appointment for us to do so. We are happy to help you, but please request our assistance within a reasonable time frame, to allow us to properly assess the treatment outcome.
If you are concerned, we recommend a patch test several days before your appointment. Please message to schedule.
On the day of your appointment you may wish to pay cash or card. Should you prefer to pay in cash please ensure you bring the correct amount to your appointment, as we do not always carry cash.

The sale of all gift certificates/vouchers is final. Refunds are not applicable, however a store credit for use on any service may be given at the discretion of JY Beauty Lounge.
MISCELLANIOUS
AfterPay is available on services $150+ in store on only.
Upon booking and appointment you are automatically signed up to email marketing. If you do not wish to receive email marketing, please contact JY Beauty Lounge to be removed.

Liability and Refund Policies
Liability: JY Beauty Lounge is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services.
Refunds: Refunds are available for physical products returned within 30 days of purchase in their original condition. Digital products and in-person services are non-refundable, except as required by Australian Consumer Law.
